Q&A Archive

These were the questions asked during the University of Birmingham Dubai Virtual Q&A Session – April live event.
Masrath Khathoon Mohammad asked:

in PGCE Program how many class we have to attend per week

Karen Brodie replied:

Hell Masrath,

The PGCE Course is a full time, face to face programme which involves some block teaching at university and school experience in schools.

This means students will be in University at the beginning of the programme for 2 full weeks of teaching sessions for 6 hours daily, usually 11am – 5pm. There will be other block teaching sessions during each term. The remainder of the times students will be full time on a school placement, working normal school hours which could be 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Many thanks

Karen Brodie, PGCE Primary Education Lecturer
